Branta Recruitment are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused Trainee / Assistant / Junior Project Manager to join a growing Projects Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within project management. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting project delivery, conducting site visits, liaising with engineers and site managers, coordinating key project tasks, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to a high standard, and in line with client expectations. You will be instrumental in improving efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to future business growth. This position offers hands-on experience across a diverse project portfolio and the opportunity to develop key project management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Undertake regular site visits to monitor progress and complete site checklists, including photographs and written reports. Act as a point of contact between site teams and the Projects Team, ensuring clear communication. Identify and report on-site issues related to safety, quality, presence, tidiness, and timelines. Assist in planning, organising, and coordinating projects from inception to completion. Track milestones and support the timely delivery of project phases. Coordinate and monitor deliverables, schedules, and team responsibilities. Prepare weekly project reports for clients and internal stakeholders. Support on-site logistics by ensuring labour, plant, and materials are properly allocated. Review on-site health and safety documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Collaborate with senior team members to refine project processes and contribute to overall strategy. Required Skills & Qualifications A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to problem-solve under pressure. Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Some experience within construction related projects is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritise effectively across multiple projects.
