The Role As General Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinating labour, plant and materials to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervising day-to-day site operations on civil engineering and energy projects. Managing direct labour, subcontractors and specialist trades. Coordinating labour, plant, materials and site resources. Driving high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance. Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme and project requirements. Supporting Site Managers with planning, logistics and delivery activities. Monitoring productivity and progress against programme. Managing site records, permits and reporting requirements. Liaising with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives. Promoting a positive safety culture across all site activities. What We're Looking For -Previous experience as a General Foreman, Foreman or Site Supervisor on civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or energy projects. -Strong leadership and team management skills. -Experience managing labour, plant and material resources. -Good understanding of construction health and safety requirements. -Ability to effectively coordinate multiple work activities. -IT literate with experience using digital site reporting systems. -Willingness to travel throughout Suffolk, Norfolk and the wider East Anglia region. Offshore Agent Location: Suffolk Reporting To: Package Manager The Role Looking for an experienced Offshore Agent (or Senior Section Engineer ready to step up) to lead and control critical marine and offshore construction packages on a major infrastructure project. You will work directly alongside the Package Manager to drive technical execution, manage a dedicated team of Section/Site Engineers and Offshore Client Representatives, control package budgets, and oversee Tier-1 supply chain partners in a high-stakes offshore environment. Key Responsibilities Package Leadership: Take full operational, technical, and commercial control of assigned marine work packages from preparation through to handover. Team & Subcontractor Management: Direct, coach, and assess competencies for Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear cascading of key project goals. HSE & Quality Control: Drive Zero Harm standards, review and approve RAMS, lead incident investigations, conduct vessel audits, and take complete ownership of Handover Completion Files (ITPs, NCRs). Commercial & Budget Ownership: Monitor section budgets, track weekly costs, identify works information changes to support commercial recovery, and assist with Applications for Payment (AfP).
