Key Responsibilities Develop civil and structural engineering solutions across feasibility, concept, FEED, value engineering, and detailed design stages Produce key engineeringdeliverables including: Structural 3D models Design calculations and technical reports General arrangement (GA) drawings Pipe support designs Foundation designs and RC detailing Support development of integrated 3D plant models and layouts Work closely with equipment vendors to develop and refine package designs Participate in technical evaluations and design reviews Contribute to proposals, bids, and multidisciplinary tender submissions Provide support across project lifecycle stages, including potential site involvement during construction and commissioning Required Skills & Experience Degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution Strong experience in civil and structural detailed design within energy or industrial sectors Solid understanding of national and international design codes and standards Strong knowledge of the engineering design process, including scope development and calculation production Proficiency in structural and CAD design tools, including: Autodesk Revit AutoCAD Tekla Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis (or STAAD Pro) Civil 3D (desirable) Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams and contributing to integrated design models Strong communication skills with experience engaging clients, contractors, and vendors Project Scope Projects will support the Energy Transition and low-carbon infrastructure sector , including: First-of-a-kind energy technologies Low-carbon and zero-carbon energy systems Industrial and process plant infrastructure Multi-disciplinary energy developments across UK and international markets You will be working alongside developers, utilities, government bodies, EPC contractors, OEMs, and financial stakeholders.
