Key Responsibilities Installation of UPVC, aluminium, and timber windows and doors Removal and replacement of double-glazed units Window and door frame installations Glazing repairs and replacements in occupied and void properties Reactive glazing maintenance and emergency repairs Glass replacement for windows, doors, and panels Sealed unit replacements and adjustments Window and door hardware replacements (handles, hinges, locks, restrictors) Realignment and adjustment of doors and windows Fault finding and diagnosing glazing issues Resealing and weatherproofing windows and frames Installation and replacement of window beading, trims, and seals Boarding up broken windows and securing properties when required Making good after installations and repairs Requirements Proven experience as a Glazier / Window Fitter Strong experience across all aspects of glazing and window fitting Ability to complete full installations independently Full, clean UK driving licence Hard-working, reliable, and professional Social housing experience advantageous (but not essential) Must be able to provide two recent references Ideally located within or close to the Portsmouth PO6 area Experience with reactive glazing maintenance and repairs

This role could suit someone with experience as a: Skilled Labourer Handyman Fire Door Assembler Window Fitter Carpenter or Joiner General Tradesperson The Role Working from our well-equipped workshop, you'll be involved in the assembly and preparation of specialist fire doors. This is not a site-based role, offering a consistent working environment where quality and attention to detail are the priority.
