Produce schedules of materials per house type from the core range of house types. Liaise with the Design Manager, Estimator and Head of Commercial on queries and suggested improvements to minimise waste and reduce cost. Your new company A London Local Authority is seeking a customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer to join its Asset Management team. Working closely with the Housing Asset Data Manager, Stock Condition Surveyor and wider Property Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring residents remain informed, engaged and supported throughout property surveys, inspections and planned investment programmes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional who enjoys building positive relationships with residents whilst helping to improve housing services and property standards across the borough. Your new role As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between residents and the Asset Management team, ensuring effective communication regarding stock condition surveys, EPC assessments, property inspections and planned works programmes.You will be responsible for arranging appointments, managing resident enquiries, addressing concerns and ensuring residents receive clear and timely information about upcoming surveys and investment works. The role will require close collaboration with surveyors, contractors and internal stakeholders to help deliver a customer-focused service. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer, Housing Officer, Customer Liaison Officer or similar role within housing, property or construction. Experience engaging with tenants, leaseholders and residents in a social housing or local authority environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally and empathetically. Experience coordinating appointments and managing customer enquiries. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and housing management systems. Ability to work independently whilst supporting a wider project team. Desirable Knowledge of stock condition surveys and planned maintenance programmes. Experience supporting capital works, retrofit, compliance or asset management projects. Understanding of social housing regulations and customer service best practices. Experience working with diverse communities and vulnerable residents.
