Working across multiple projects, specialising in the early stages through pre-construction to project commencement, driving execution across RIBA Plan of Work and Design Framework for Building Services Stages 3 to 6. Our client has an enviable track record on projects c 50m+ and have delivered projects on a repeat basis in London and the South. Key Responsibilities Serve as a core member of the specialised MEP strategy team, supporting senior directors in delivering design and technical engineering management strategies - specialising in Electrical. Provide direct line management, technical coaching, and mentoring to a team of Electrical engineers; offer guidance to external consultants, Project Managers, and Project Engineers. Act as the lead technical authority for allocated projects, with specific oversight of electrical engineering elements and technical authorisation of major packages, plant, and equipment. Manage external consultant appointments, monitor design progress, and lead granular design reviews to ensure compliance and quality. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, technical consultants, and digital engineering partners on assigned projects. Lead safety initiatives and ensure strict compliance with CDM regulations. Validate on-site installations and system operations against approved designs, providing technical troubleshooting and resolution support as required. Desirable Experience: 10years+ experience within a UK main contractor or major MEP subcontractor environment. In-depth knowledge of Electrical building services and the integration of multidisciplinary MEP packages. Proven ability to manage the front-end lifecycle, including tendering, design coordination, and BIM workflows.
