Job Description

A long-established and stable property investment business based in South West London is looking for a part-time Property Manager to join the team. This is a permanent position paying up to £45,000 pro rata for three days per week. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they are well maintained and managed effectively.

This would be an ideal role for a full-time property manager who is looking for a part-time property position with an established portfolio of clients.

You'll play a key role in keeping the portfolio running smoothly, from managing tenant relationships and building maintenance to overseeing compliance and budgets. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with initiative, drive and strong attention to detail.

The successful part-time Property Manager will:

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact between tenants, contractors and the business
  • Keep properties in good order through regular site visits and by arranging planned and reactive repairs
  • Oversee building services, including heating, ventilation, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Prepare service charge budgets and monitor spend against them
  • Manage business rates and running costs for vacant units
  • Build strong working relationships with tenants and suppliers, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and costs remain reasonable
  • Support tenants with lease queries and fit-out works
  • Keep lease, property and compliance records up to date in the property management system
  • Ensure sites meet health and safety, legal and regulatory requirements, including contractor checks and inspection records
  • Oversee insurance, security systems and emergency plans, and maintain building manuals and records

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in property management
  • A relevant property, facilities or technical qualification
  • Sound knowledge of building operations, maintenance and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills
  • Good Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • A full UK driving licence and own car

In return, you'll receive a salary of up to £45,000 pro rata, plus a range of benefits that can be discussed during the application process. This is a permanent, part-time position working three days per week.
