Chartered Building Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is recruiting for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Borough Green, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, delivering a varied range of building surveying services while helping develop an expanding surveying team.

• Undertake building surveys, condition reports and pre-acquisition inspections.
• Diagnose building defects and prepare remedial specifications.
• Manage landlord and tenant dilapidations.
• Advise on building regulations, compliance and building safety.
• Prepare schedules of work, maintenance plans and technical reports.
• Develop client relationships, prepare fee proposals and support business growth.
• Collaborate with structural and civil engineers and mentor junior colleagues.

• MRICS qualified in Building Surveying.
• Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent RICS-accredited qualification.
• Minimum three years' post-qualification consultancy experience.
• Strong experience in building surveys, defect diagnosis and dilapidations.
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations and CDM 2015.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and client management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East.
