They deliver projects across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors, including specialist healthcare schemes for clients nationwide. The role
Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of healthcare and commercial projects. You ll be someone who can keep projects, people and budgets on track without needing a lie-down afterwards. The role is pitched at intermediate level, with flexibility for more senior candidates with the right experience.

What you ll be doing

• Managing a portfolio of projects from pre-start through to handover
• Leading and supporting Site Managers and site teams
• Planning and monitoring programmes, resources and progress
• Working with the commercial team to control costs and protect margins
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and building long-term relationships
• Ensuring health, safety, quality and environmental standards are met on every site
• Managing subcontractors and the supply chain
• Visiting sites regularly and reporting progress to the directors

What we re looking for

• Contracts Manager or senior Project/Site Manager experience with a building contractor
• Healthcare and/or commercial project experience (essential)
• Experience working in live or occupied environments, ideally clinical settings
• Strong programme, cost and people management skills
• Calm, organised and able to juggle several projects at once
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
