You don't need extensive experience - around one to two years could be sufficient - but you will need the confidence, practical knowledge and sound judgement to take ownership from the outset, together with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Why This Role?

- Performance-related bonus of up to 10% and profit share opportunity
- Study support and ongoing professional development
- Car allowance or electric car salary sacrifice scheme
- 23 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Employee discount scheme
- Dedicated specialist support across Major Works, Building Safety, Insurance, Accounts and Customer Services
- Opportunity to develop your HRB and technical expertise and contribute ideas
- Supportive team environment and free office parking
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operation of your residential portfolio, including regular site inspections
- Oversee maintenance, contractors, service charge budgets and compliance requirements
- Build strong relationships with clients, leaseholders and RMC/RTM directors
- Provide practical guidance to clients and directors, including on building and fire safety matters, with specialist support where required
- Attend client and directors' meetings, providing clear updates and managing expectations
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, exercising sound judgement and knowing when to seek additional support
What You'll Bring
- Experience independently managing a residential block and estate management portfolio
- Some exposure to managing higher-risk buildings (HRBs)
- A working understanding of building safety, fire safety and the additional compliance responsibilities associated with HRBs
- Confidence dealing with clients and directors, including providing advice and handling challenging situations
- Sound practical knowledge of maintenance, service charge budgets and contractor management
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, resilient and positive approach, with the confidence to take ownership and the willingness to keep learning
- A relevant industry qualification, or commitment to working towards one
- Full UK driving licence
