Estimator

Estimator required to join one of Bristol's leading contractors, pricing a varied portfolio of projects typically valued 5m- 10m, with larger schemes up to 25m. Seeking a commercially astute construction professional with strong tendering experience and a proactive approach.

• Prepare competitive tenders for new build and refurbishment projects
• Produce accurate cost plans and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Attend pre-tender and client meetings
• Assess project risks and opportunities
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams
• Support bid presentations and negotiations
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

Requirements

• Proven Estimating experience with a main contractor
• Experience pricing projects from 5m- 10m, ideally up to 25m
• New build and refurbishment project experience
• Strong commercial and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
