The overall purpose of this role is to be responsible for maintaining the quality standards of the development by assisting The General Manager in delivering the efficient management of site-based staff, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance including contractor management, capital projects, ensuring the communal areas are well presented, and providing an exceptional level of customer service to all residents and visitors to the development. The Facilities Manager should have previous experience of facilities management within a prestigious development, either residential block management or hospitality sectors, or with an armed forces background, experience of leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing a team, extensive experience of contractor management including approving and assessing all sub- contractor works, hold a high level of Health and Safety understanding with extensive experience, excellent time management and prioritisation of tasks, excellent communication skills: both verbal and written, and be a competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and computer programmes in general. Holder of an IWFM qualification or equivalent to Member level, a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (or be prepared to work toward the qualification within year one) and a full, clean driving licence would be desirable but not essential.

Experience establishing and managing facilities and service contracts. Knowledge of leases and property documentation. Experience overseeing building repairs, maintenance and contractors. Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Good IT skills and experience maintaining computerised records and systems.
