Working Plumbing Foreman

Location: Central London
Office: Moorgate
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 8 9 hours per day, depending on project

We are currently looking for an experienced Working Plumbing Foreman to join a growing team working across a range of commercial projects throughout Central London.

This is a 50/50 hands-on and management role, ideal for an experienced plumber who is ready to take the next step into a Foreman position while remaining actively involved with the plumbing works on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising and leading teams of up to 8 plumbers/tradesmen, depending on project size.
  • Remaining hands-on with plumbing installation works alongside the team.
  • Carrying out quality checks and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
  • Conducting Safe Starts, toolbox talks and site briefings where required.
  • Completing daily site diaries and relevant site paperwork.
  • Ordering and managing materials.
  • Planning and coordinating plumbing works on site.
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and within programme.
  • Liaising with Project Managers and Site Managers.
  • Reporting directly to the Project Manager on smaller projects.
  • Working under the Site Manager on larger projects and taking responsibility for the plumbing team.
  • Coordinating plumbing works alongside other trades.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman, Working Foreman or Senior Plumber.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing essential.
  • Blue CSCS/JIB Plumbing Card essential.
  • Gold CSCS/JIB card advantageous.
  • Strong commercial plumbing installation experience.
  • Experience supervising and leading other plumbers.
  • Ability to work confidently both on the tools and in a supervisory capacity.
  • Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commercial fit-out experience is highly desirable.
  • Data centre experience would be advantageous.
