Job Description

A well-regarded building surveying consultancy in Liverpool, with a strong pipeline of work and a record of developing people into senior roles, is looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to take ownership of a varied project portfolio.

It's a client-facing role with real autonomy: your own projects, your own client relationships, and room to progress as the business grows.

The work

  • Lead design development and manage projects from feasibility through to completion
  • Advise clients on options, budgets and delivery strategy
  • Prepare specifications, costings, programmes and tender documentation
  • Run procurement and contract administration
  • Carry out building surveys, diagnose defects and prepare repair proposals
  • Advise on maintenance strategy and lifecycle planning
  • Manage planning applications and advise on statutory compliance

You

  • MRICS or MCIOB, or working towards chartership
  • Public sector project experience, ideally education
  • Strong technical, organisational and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

  • Competitive salary ( 50,000 - 65,000) plus car allowance
