Chartered Building Surveyor - Cheshire

To £70K

We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our clients Building Consultancy team across the Midlands. You'll manage a varied portfolio, undertaking defect diagnosis, preparing schedules of works, and overseeing repair projects for insurers, loss adjusters, policyholders, and private clients. We're looking for a technically accomplished, client-focused professional committed to delivering innovative, high-quality surveying solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed defect diagnosis surveys and prepare costed schedules of works
  • Oversee repair projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Work across a diverse caseload for loss adjusters, insurers, policyholders, and private clients
  • Manage projects in line with CDM regulations and JCT contract requirements
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards and uphold professional ethics
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while working independently when required
  • Ensure adherence to client contractual requirements, SLA's, and KPI's

Requirements

  • Experienced Building Surveyor with sound knowledge of building surveying principles

  • Insurance claims experience desirable

  • RICS or similar qualification preferred

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and investigative skills

  • Experience with JCT contracts, including managing variations, payments, and key milestones

  • Full UK driver's license and access to vehicle is essential
