Project Quantity Surveyor - Structural Refurbishment
Location: Zone 1, London
Salary: £65,000-£80,000 + Package

Project Quantity Surveyor - Central London
A contractor is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a Zone 1 scheme valued at up to £15m.
The project involves structural modification, underpinning, construction of a new core and a vertical extension to the rear block. It is an opportunity for a QS who wants ownership of a technically interesting project, with support from the Divisional Commercial Director.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
£65,000-£80,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus package. The salary bracket is indicative and subject to confirmation.

The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking day-to-day commercial responsibility for the project
- Procuring and managing subcontract packages
- Managing valuations, variations and change control
- Producing cost reports, forecasts and cash flow updates
- Managing subcontractor payments and final accounts
- Working with the site and design teams to manage commercial risk
- A QS who has led the commercial delivery of a project or is ready to step into that responsibility
- Main contractor experience on refurbishment, structural alterations or other complex building projects
- Strong procurement, subcontract management and cost reporting skills
- A practical, organised approach and confidence dealing with project stakeholders
£65,000-£80,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus package. The salary bracket is indicative and subject to confirmation.
