Senior Quantity Surveyor - Central London
A contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a high-profile £30m Cat A refurbishment and decarbonisation project in Zone 1.

This is a substantial project with genuine commercial ownership. You will lead the day-to-day commercial delivery, working closely with the project team and with support from the Divisional Commercial Director.

The Role
Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages
• Managing budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow
• Overseeing valuations, variations and change control
• Managing subcontractor accounts and negotiating final accounts
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout delivery
• Working closely with the client, project team and senior leadership

What They Are Looking For

• A Senior QS with experience taking the commercial lead on substantial projects
• A strong main contractor background in refurbishment, fit-out or complex building works
• Confidence managing procurement, reporting, change and final accounts
• The judgement to lead independently while working closely with a senior commercial director

Salary & Package
£80,000-£95,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus package. The salary bracket is indicative and subject to confirmation.
