Associate Quantity Surveyor

Salary: 70,000- 90,000 + benefits Manchester Hybrid

We are working with a growing construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior-Associate Quantity Surveyor to join its Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS looking to take the next step in their career, with the chance to work across a strong portfolio of projects while playing an important role in the continued growth of the regional business.

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and quantity surveying expertise across a range of client projects, working closely with an experienced wider consultancy team.
The business has an established presence in Manchester and is continuing to grow its regional offering. As a result, there is significant scope for the successful candidate to develop their client relationships, contribute to business development and take on increasing responsibility as the team expands.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working with clients, is commercially strong and is looking for a clear pathway into senior leadership.

• Provide quantity surveying and commercial advisory services to a range of clients.
• Manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Provide cost management, commercial advice and reporting.
• Prepare and review cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Support procurement and tendering processes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to business development and identifying new opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.
• Support and mentor more junior members of the team as required.
• Take increasing responsibility for projects, clients and team development.

We're looking for an experienced Senior-Associate level Quantity Surveyor with a strong consultancy background.
Ideally, you will have:

• Strong technical and commercial Quantity Surveying experience.
• Consultancy experience.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• The ability to manage projects and workloads independently.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
• An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Ambition to progress into a senior leadership position.
