Quantity Surveyor

NEW OPPORTUNITY QUANTITY SURVEYOR

I'm currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a market-leading subcontractor based in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS looking to join an established business with a strong reputation, excellent project pipeline and long-term opportunities for career development.

You'll be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, project teams and the wider commercial function.

The business is open to QS professionals from a variety of construction backgrounds, so you don't necessarily need to come from a specific discipline.

Relevant experience could include:

• Structural steel
• Facades / cladding
• Roofing
• Construction subcontracting
• Engineering
• Other specialist subcontractor environments

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
• Strong commercial and cost-control understanding
• Experience within construction or a specialist subcontractor environment
• Confident managing valuations, variations, costs and final accounts
• Good communication and client-management skills
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Structural steel experience is advantageous but not essential
