Civils Site Manager Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum (subject to experience) Package: Car Allowance + Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Overview As Civils Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination and supervision of civil engineering construction activities on site. Monitor and manage site housekeeping standards. Identify and resolve site issues proactively to minimise disruption to programme delivery. Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates. Assist in the management and close-out of snagging, defects and completion works. Ensure protection of existing services and immediately report any damage or incidents. Support the successful handover of completed projects to the client. Continuous Improvement You will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Construction Department by: Identifying problems and proposing practical solutions. Promoting safe working practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring compliance with company Quality, Environmental Management and Safety Systems (QEMS). Supporting teamwork and collaboration across all departments. Participating in training and professional development activities. Promoting a positive safety culture across all projects. General Requirements You will be expected to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity when representing the business. You must work safely at all times in accordance with company procedures, Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice.
