Residential Site Manager

Location: Peterborough

We're currently recruiting for an experienced site Manager to join an established residential construction business, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of domestic new-build projects close to Peterborough

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who takes pride in delivering high-quality homes, maintaining strong health & safety standards and keeping projects on programme.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management of residential developments, working closely with subcontractors, trades, suppliers and the wider project team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily site operations from start to completion
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Managing programme and build schedules
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site
• Carrying out regular quality inspections
• Coordinating materials, deliveries and labour
• Liaising with the Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor and wider project team
• Managing snagging and ensuring homes are completed to the required standard
• Maintaining site records and completing relevant documentation
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

We're looking for someone with proven experience as a Site Manager within residential/domestic construction, ideally with experience delivering new-build housing developments.

You should have:

• Previous Site Management experience within residential construction
• Strong knowledge of the housebuilding process from groundworks through to completion
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
• The ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades effectively
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• SMSTS

• 50000 - 55,000 salary, depending on experience
