Contracts Manager

Location: West of Scotland predominantly site based
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract Scotland is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the West of Scotland.

Following discussions with the client, we are particularly keen to speak with candidates from a housing or main contracting background, with strong general construction knowledge and experience managing multi-trade works.

This is a hands-on, site-based role, ideal for someone confident overseeing subcontractors, managing project delivery and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.

You will be responsible for managing multiple contracts from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations and multiple construction contracts.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and multi-trade packages.
• Monitoring programme, quality, costs and health & safety.
• Overseeing works and resolving issues across projects.
• Managing client relationships, site meetings and progress reporting.
• Maintaining project documentation, RAMS and contract paperwork.
• Supporting commercial management, variations and project handovers.

You will have experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or similar, ideally within housing or main contracting.

You should have a good understanding of general construction and experience managing multiple trades. Experience in any of the following would be particularly relevant:

• Housing, residential construction or refurbishment.
• External wall installation.
• Roofing and cladding.
• Multi-trade construction projects.

You will also be commercially aware, well organised, IT literate and confident managing subcontractors, site teams and project documentation.

A full UK driving licence and relevant industry qualifications would be advantageous.
