Overview of the Role

Senior Architect job in Southwark working on large residential and mixed use projects, primarily across RIBA Stages 4 to 6. The role combines technical project delivery, team leadership, consultant coordination and hands-on production of construction information. Current Autodesk Revit knowledge is essential, alongside strong technical detailing and experience managing complex project packages.

Practice & Project Information

This established practice works across a range of sectors, with the current workload focused on residential and mixed use schemes. You will join a collaborative London studio delivering technically demanding projects through detailed design, construction and completion stages, working closely with consultants, contractors, clients and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical delivery across residential and mixed use projects at later RIBA stages

• Lead project teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal colleagues

• Produce coordinated technical and construction information for project delivery

• Review consultant information and resolve design coordination issues

• Support projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6 while maintaining technical standards

• Develop robust construction details for medium and large-scale schemes

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong technical experience on medium or large-scale architectural projects

• Current Autodesk Revit knowledge with confident AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills

• Knowledge of Building Regulations, relevant housing standards and NHBC or LABC guidance

• Experience leading teams and coordinating consultants, contractors and clients

• Strong construction detailing skills and experience managing detailed drawing packages

• Experience delivering later RIBA stages on residential, mixed use, commercial or similarly complex projects
