About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our social housing repairs and maintenance team.

You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality plastering repairs and maintenance across occupied and void residential properties. The role involves working in residents' homes, so a professional, respectful and customer-focused approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out responsive and planned plastering repairs in social housing properties
• Complete patch plastering, skimming, rendering and boarding
• Carry out repairs to walls and ceilings, including making good following leaks and other trades
• Prepare surfaces and ensure a high-quality, durable finish
• Complete remedial and refurbishment works in void properties
• Identify additional repairs and report any follow-on works required
• Work safely and comply with all relevant health and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment within residents' homes
• Complete job sheets and update works accurately using a PDA/mobile device
• Work independently and as part of a wider repairs team
• Provide excellent customer service to residents at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plasterer, ideally within social housing or domestic property maintenance
• Strong skills in patching, skimming, boarding and rendering
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or equivalent
• Previous experience working for a housing association, local authority or social housing contractor
• Multi-trade skills such as tiling, painting and decorating or minor carpentry
• Experience using PDA/mobile working systems
