Senior Technologist Cambridge Employee-Owned Architectural & Heritage Practice
A well-established, employee-owned architectural and heritage practice is growing its Cambridge studio and wants to hear from experienced Senior Architectural Technologists who take real pride in getting the technical detail right.
This is a practice with serious heritage credentials recognised nationally as one of the UK's leading names in this space. What sets it apart is the employee-ownership model: everyone has a genuine stake in how the business runs, and that shows in how collaborative and supportive the culture is day to day.
What the role involves:
Day to day, you'll be developing and coordinating technical design information, setting out what needs to be delivered and by when. You'll take responsibility for seeing packages through to completion keeping an eye on quality, cost and client satisfaction in equal measure and act as the go-between across a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and designers. Regular contact with clients and stakeholders is part of the role, as is running technical reviews and passing on lessons learned to the wider studio. There's a line management element too, with responsibility for a small team, and plenty of scope to help junior colleagues build their own technical skills.
