Pick structural steel sections, plates and other materials for production machinery. Load, unload and stack steel onto shotblast machines and other processing equipment. Safely move materials throughout the yard and manufacturing facility using approved lifting equipment. Carry out manual handling duties in accordance with safe working practices. Maintain accurate material identification and traceability throughout the production process. Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available to meet manufacturing schedules. Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the yard and storage areas. Report damaged materials, equipment faults or safety concerns promptly. Support stock control activities as required. Comply with all company Health & Safety policies, procedures and risk assessments. Wear the appropriate PPE and promote a safe working culture at all times.
