The Opportunity
We are working with one of the UK's premier structural steelwork contractors, renowned for delivering innovative and technically challenging projects across the country.
The business specialises in design, fabrication, painting and site erection, with an impressive portfolio of major UK steelwork projects.
They are now looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of structural steelwork projects on site.
The Role
- Managing structural steelwork projects from site mobilisation through to completion.
- Overseeing site erection and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
- Ensuring health, safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Monitoring progress, programme and site activities.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and the wider delivery team.
- Maintaining strong communication with clients and site stakeholders.
- Nationwide travel to project sites, with accommodation and lodge arrangements provided.
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within structural steelwork.
- Strong understanding of steel erection and site operations.
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- CSCS Black Card ESSENTIAL
- Experience working on football stadium projects would be highly advantageous.
- Must be comfortable with nationwide travel and working away from home.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Package
- Up to 80,000, depending on experience.
