Groundworks Supervisor / Site Manager
Location: Dereham, Norfolk
Sector: Residential Groundworks
Duration: 2 months minimum, with potential for extension
Start: Immediate / ASAP
EA Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor / Site Manager to work on behalf of an established groundworks subcontractor on a large residential project in Dereham, Norfolk.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervisory/site management roles, with previous experience overseeing large residential groundworks projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day running of the site
- Reporting directly to Contracts Managers
- Managing labour levels and allocating resources effectively
- Carrying out site inductions
- Overseeing site operations and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across the site
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and management
Requirements
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification/ticket
- Proven experience in a Groundworks Supervisor / Site Manager position
- Previous residential groundworks experience is essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Up-to-date CV required
Duration
This is a minimum 2-month position, with the potential for a longer-term extension depending on the project and performance.
