Electrician

Location: London & South East
Salary: 43,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are working with a leading Repairs & Maintenance Contractor in the Social Housing sector to recruit a skilled Electrician to join a newly created Support Team.

The team has been established to provide additional support across several high-priority contracts throughout London and the South East. As part of this team, you will work across different contracts and locations, providing electrical maintenance and support where required.

This is a varied role suited to an experienced Electrician who is comfortable working across different environments and adapting to changing requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance across residential and communal properties
  • Provide electrical support across multiple contracts throughout London and the South East
  • Respond to high-priority works and assist contracts where additional support is required
  • Complete multiple jobs efficiently, safely and to a high standard
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate remedial works
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical, health & safety and compliance requirements
  • Provide a professional and respectful service to residents and clients
  • Accurately update job details using PDA/job scheduling systems
  • Work flexibly across different locations and contracts as required
  • Participate in a call-out rota


Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • AM2
  • 18th Edition
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Previous experience within social housing, repairs & maintenance or a similar environment is preferred
  • Good knowledge of electrical regulations, health & safety and compliance
  • Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance
  • Comfortable working across multiple locations and adapting to different contracts
  • Confident using PDA/job scheduling software
