Truss Assembly Operative

Driver Hire Colchester is currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Sudbury.

This is a physically demanding role involving manual labour and assisting with the movement and assembly of timber roof trusses inside the warehouse.

Duties will include:

• Moving timber roof trusses around the warehouse
• Assisting with building and assembling trusses
• Regularly lifting materials weighing up to 30kg
• Using basic hand tools where required
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Keeping the working area clean and organised

The successful candidate must:

• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 30kg
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Be comfortable completing manual work throughout the shift
• Be able to drive or have reliable transport to Sudbury
• Be available to start work with Driver Hire Colchester

Previous warehouse, construction, carpentry or manual labour experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
