Site Foreman / Supervisor Sizewell, Suffolk We are working with a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor delivering major infrastructure works on a significant project at Sizewell. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking to speak with an experienced Site Foreman / Supervisor to support the delivery of clean and dirty water infrastructure works. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in water, utilities or civil engineering who enjoys being hands-on and taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of works on site. As Site Foreman / Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the construction programme. You will be responsible for coordinating site operatives, subcontractors, plant and materials while working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and wider delivery team. This role will suit someone who is comfortable being out on site, leading from the front and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise the day-to-day delivery of water and utilities infrastructure works. Manage and coordinate site operatives, gangs and subcontractors. Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with company and project procedures. Carry out daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions where required. Monitor progress against the construction programme and report any issues or delays. Coordinate labour, plant, materials and equipment to ensure works can progress efficiently. Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards. Read and interpret drawings and ensure works are constructed correctly. Work closely with Engineers, Site Managers and Project Managers to coordinate activities. Monitor productivity and drive efficient working practices. Identify potential issues on site and escalate where necessary. Ensure all relevant permits, RAMS and site documentation are in place before works commence. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site organisation. Support the delivery of works through to completion and handover. About You We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: Previous experience as a Foreman, General Foreman or Site Supervisor . A strong background within water, wastewater, utilities or civil engineering . Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors. A hands-on approach to site delivery. Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements. The ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Experience coordinating multiple activities and work fronts. Good communication and leadership skills. The ability to work effectively within a busy and highly regulated infrastructure environment. Experience working on clean water, dirty water, wastewater, pipelines, pumping stations or associated civil engineering works would be highly advantageous. Qualifications SSSTS or SMSTS. CSCS Card. First Aid at Work. NRSWA and other utilities-related qualifications would be advantageous. Temporary Works experience would also be beneficial.
