Are you an experienced Commissioning Manager looking to take ownership of complex, high-profile building projects from commissioning through to handover?
A leading independent engineering and commissioning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Commissioning MEP Manager to support the delivery of major developments across the commercial, data centre, healthcare, mixed-use and mission-critical sectors.
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected team that has played a key role in the successful delivery of some of the UKs most technically challenging projects, including large-scale commercial headquarters, critical infrastructure facilities, flagship healthcare developments and landmark regeneration schemes.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the full commissioning process on major projects, acting as the key interface between clients, contractors, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure systems are delivered, tested and handed over to the highest standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading commissioning management activities across complex MEP installations
- Developing and managing commissioning programmes and strategies
- Chairing commissioning meetings and coordinating project stakeholders
- Monitoring commissioning progress and identifying project risks
- Witnessing testing, validation and system demonstrations
- Managing integrated systems testing and client handover processes
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Supporting junior commissioning managers and site teams
About You
- Proven experience in Commissioning Management within the built environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health building services systems
- Experience delivering large and complex projects, ideally within commercial, healthcare, data centre, life sciences or infrastructure sectors
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through commissioning and handover phases
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
