As a Carpenter at Hyde, you ll be working in our homes carrying out day?to?day repairs and maintenance. You ll be trusted to get jobs done right first time and to treat our customers with respect in their homes. What you ll be doing Carrying out multi?trade repairs including carpentry,and general maintenance Fixing day?to?day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring Completing patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and similar finishing works Working on your own jobs but also alongside other trades when needed Following work orders and reporting back on progress and materials used Working safely at all times and following Hyde s health and safety procedures Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes UPVC Repairs & Maintenance: Repairing and maintaining windows and doors, including replacing hinges, handles, and locking mechanisms. Installing new Fire doors, including cutting and adjusting frames. As a Multi-Trade Carpenter your duties will include: • Reactive & planned repairs and maintenance • Internal Refurbishment projects • Carrying out repairs to the Fabric of a building and external works, including but not limited to: Carpentry, hanging doors, skirting boards, architraves, patch plastering, Painting, Basic Plumbing, Brickwork, Slabbing, Roofing • Independent working, as well as team working when needed across various sites • Travelling between multiple sites per day As a Multi-Trade Carpenter you will need: • Experience within Reactive and planned maintenance within commercial settings • Valid CSCS Card • Asbestos Awareness desirable • Full Clean UK Driving Licence • Enhanced DBS to be taken prior to commencing the role • High standard of work • Good communicator The successful Multi-Trade Carpenter will be working for a successful business who have a strong foothold within the maintenance sector.
