Site Manager

Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a temporary ongoing project based in Hexham. The successful candidate will oversee the conversion of a former restaurant into residential flats, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day site operations from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and programme deadlines.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
• Resolve on-site issues efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to specification.
• Conversion of a building into restaurant and apartments

Personal Specification

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment, conversion, or residential construction projects.
• Valid SMSTS certificate.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
