Site Manager

Location: Near Hammersmith / Shepherd's Bush
Duration: 21 September - 30 September
Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Freelance

We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a busy commercial project in West London, working on a short-term package involving the closure of an existing retail unit.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who is comfortable working in a live, high-profile environment and can take ownership of site operations, health & safety and subcontractor coordination.

• Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
• Maintain high standards of health & safety
• Coordinate trades and manage site logistics
• Liaise with the project team and relevant stakeholders
• Ensure site records, RAMS and permits are maintained
• Drive quality and ensure works are completed to the required standard
• Maintain a professional approach when working within a busy public-facing environment

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial, retail or refurbishment projects
• SMSTS - essential
• First Aid - essential
• Strong understanding of site health & safety
• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for the site

The project operates a strict site safety system, including a yellow/red card process. Candidates must have a strong safety record and take site rules and procedures seriously.

Hours: 7am-5pm
Location: Hammersmith, West London
Start: Monday 21 September
Finish: Wednesday 30 September
