Cad Draughtsman

Tekla 3D CAD Draughstman Required

Our client specialises in the manufacture and installation of high quality mild and stainless steel products eg structural steel, balconies, gates and railings plus glass balustrades.

They are looking for a teckla 3D CAD Draughtsman ideally with structural steel experience to take up a permanent position on the books with their business.

A Tekla 3D CAD Draughtsman is a specialized technical professional who uses Tekla Structures software to create precise 3D models, general arrangement drawings, and fabrication details for structural steel and reinforced concrete projects.

They have a strong order book of future works.

Location: Cardiff

PAYE Hourly Rate: 18.00 - 21.50

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Build data-rich 3D models for steelwork or reinforced concrete structures (such as beams, columns, thick walls, and foundations).

• Drawing Production: Generate accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings, assembly drawings, and material take-offs or bar bending schedules.

• BIM Coordination: Work within a Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment to coordinate models with architects, engineers, and fabricators while managing clashes.

• Compliance: Ensure designs follow local building regulations, Eurocodes, or British Standards.
