Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance and repair works in accordance with works order specifications. Undertake individual or joint electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing tasks. Complete all work in accordance with current Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work. Complete relevant reports, certificates and documentation using electronic/mobile devices. Order required materials and identify or request any necessary follow-on works. Undertake a variety of electrical work, including: Responsive and emergency repairs Routine servicing, maintenance, inspection and testing Planned installation and remedial works Void property works Complete works orders in accordance with applicable schedules of rates. Maintain company vehicles appropriately, including cleaning, checking fluid levels and completing relevant documentation. Follow all asbestos-related procedures and maintain the required level of training and competency. Attend team briefings, toolbox talks and training sessions as required. Work safely at all times and comply with relevant health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure all required PPE, tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly. Provide a professional and customer-focused service when working in occupied properties. Practical experience of electrical inspection and testing. Experience within domestic, housing maintenance or property maintenance environments. A willingness to undertake Category B asbestos awareness/training as required. A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in response to changes in legislation, regulations and industry standards. Good spoken English and numeracy skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A good understanding of health and safety requirements. The ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team. Your new role As Electrical Lead / Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing electrical installations across a range of commercial new build, fit-out and maintenance projects.
