Salary: 30-45,000

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded, award-winning planning-led practice that is looking to appoint a Town Planner.

The practice brings together a talented team of town planners, architects, designers and landscape architects, delivering a collaborative and fully integrated approach to development projects from initial ideas through to completion.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and professional team working across a broad range of projects, including residential developments, barn conversions, renewable energy schemes, commercial developments and tourism projects. This role offers excellent variety and the opportunity to work on a number of interesting and challenging planning schemes.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious, proactive and client-focused Town Planner with sufficient experience in a planning-related role.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Planning or a relevant planning qualification
• Sufficient experience working within the planning sector
• Experience managing a variety of planning applications and development proposals
• Excellent communication skills and confidence when working with clients
• A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work
• RTPI membership would be advantageous, although it is not essential

The company is also happy to provide support for candidates currently working towards RTPI chartership.
