Hill & Hill Recruitment are seeking a Major Works Project Manager to work with one of our Local Authority clients based in London . Key Responsibilities You will play a key role in the delivery of a major housing refurbishment programme, taking responsibility for day-to-day client-side project management and ensuring projects are delivered effectively, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. The role will involve managing budgets, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders, while providing regular reporting and recommendations to senior management. Your Experience Significant experience working as a Project Manager within a Local Authority, social housing or property environment. Strong experience delivering housing refurbishment, capital works or property improvement programmes. Proven experience of managing contractors, consultants and multiple stakeholders in a complex client-side environment. Experience managing project budgets, purchase orders, consultant fees and financial reporting. Strong understanding of project risks, issues, change management and contractual requirements. Experience working alongside Clerk of Works, Employers Agents and main contractors, with the ability to monitor quality and programme performance. Experience working on social housing voids, including contractor management, handovers, inspections and resolving issues preventing properties from being returned to letting.
