Bricklayer

To be successful for this Brick Layer job you must have:

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proof of right to work in UK.
• Be physically fit for duties around a construction site.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Hard working.
• Respectful.
• A good team player.
• Previous experience as a Bricklayer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, Concrete Blocks, and other masonry units according to specifications
• Construct walls, arches, and other structures using both hand tools and power tools.
• Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting.
• Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various applications
• Inspect completed work for quality and standards
• Maintain and repair existing work when necessary
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure the site complies with health and safety regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid CSCS card
• NVQ Lvl 2 Bricklaying qualification
• Experience in brick/block laying
• Ability to use relevant hand tools and power tools.
• Can read blueprints and technical drawings
• Good communication skills
