Mechanical Estimator - Position Overview Manage the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission. Mechanical Estimator - Position Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within construction or building services. Strong mechanical background with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience preparing detailed tenders, undertaking take-offs and building up rates. Strong commercial awareness with experience obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Good understanding of mechanical materials, products and installation requirements. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
