Position: Freelance Estimator
Location: Hybrid
Freelance rate: £500 to £550 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)

Our client is a Tier 2 main contractor who currently enjoy a turnover of £90 million, delivering primarily New Build projects around the UK. They predominately operate within select business sectors including Logistics & Distribution, Multi-room & Commercial.

They generally deliver projects ranging in value from £5million up to £25million and negotiate the majority of their secured projects.

The Owners are keen to further develop and strengthen their Pre-Construction Team and due to the significant number of tenders coming through the door, they're actively looking to secure the services of a Freelance Estimator.

The Ideal Candidate will have experience of:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for New Build & Refurbishment projects across various sectors.
• Take full ownership of tenders typically valued between £1m and £20m
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather accurate data.
• Develop robust pricing strategies and identify commercial opportunities whilst reducing risk.
• Assist in tendering processes by preparing competitive bids.
• Identify potential cost saving opportunities.
