Senior Environmental Advisor
Location: London & Greater London
Candidate Base: Surrey
Working Pattern: Site-based, typically 4 days per week on project sites + 1 day working from home
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential for longer-term work across AMP8
Rate: £400- £450 per day, with some flexibility depending on experience
IR35: Potentially outside IR35, subject to individual project assessment
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to support a number
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working closely with project teams and taking ownership of environmental requirements across live construction projects. The successful candidate will ideally be based in or around Surrey, with the flexibility to travel to project sites across London and Greater London at least four days a week.
The initial contract is for six months, with a strong possibility of further work.
The Role
Working as part of the project team, you will provide environmental support and advice throughout the project lifecycle, including pre-construction, ECI and construction phases.

Experience
We are looking for someone who has already operated at Senior Environmental Advisor level, or in an equivalent position within a major civil engineering, utilities, water or infrastructure environment.
You will need to be comfortable joining an established programme and working with a high degree of autonomy. This is not a role for someone looking to be closely managed we need an experienced environmental professional who can take ownership and provide practical advice to the wider project team.
