JOB TITLE: Aluminium Window & Door Fitter
SALARY: £32,000 to £40,000 basic depending on experience, plus overtime paid at time and a half. OTE up to approximately £52,000 based on current fitter earnings.
LOCATION: Wolverhampton / West Midlands. HTL Windows & Doors is based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, with installations predominantly across the West Midlands.

Join an established commercial installation team
HTL Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced Aluminium Window & Door Fitter to join our installation team.
Since 2002, we have been fabricating and installing automatic doors, aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling and shopfronts. We have worked with our customers to build and refurbish more than 8,000 commercial and industrial buildings.
If you already have experience fitting aluminium windows, doors or curtain walling, we would like to hear from you.
We will also consider experienced uPVC Window Fitters who have strong practical fitting skills and would like to move into commercial aluminium installation.

- £32,000 to £40,000 basic salary depending on experience

The role
Working as part of a two-person fitting team, you will travel to customer sites to install aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling on commercial projects.
Most of the work is across the West Midlands, with occasional installations outside the area and some overnight stays.
Day to day, you will:
- Install aluminium windows and doors on commercial sites
- Install curtain walling systems
- Work with your fitting partner to complete installations safely, accurately and on time
- Maintain a high standard of finish and quality workmanship
- Follow health and safety requirements on every site
- Keep customers updated on progress while work is being completed
- Identify and resolve practical installation issues as they arise
- Represent HTL professionally when working on customer sites
Experienced uPVC Window Fitter?
Don t rule yourself out.
While previous experience fitting aluminium windows, doors or curtain walling would be ideal, we will also consider experienced uPVC Window and Door Fitters with strong practical fitting skills.
If you know how to fit properly, take pride in your work and want to develop your experience in commercial aluminium installations, we can provide training and support from an experienced team.
About you
You will need:
- Proven experience fitting aluminium windows, doors or curtain walling, or strong experience fitting uPVC windows and doors
- A valid UK driving licence
- To live within the Shropshire or West Midlands area
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- A reliable, punctual and organised approach
- Good practical problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person fitting team
A valid CSCS card would be an advantage.
