Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Crawley, Surrey

Salary/Benefits: 27k - 40k + Training & Benefits

A multi-disciplined compliance outfit is recruiting for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to cover new client contracts within the South East region. You will be conducting risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems across commercial and public sector premises. Applicants must be confident in completing their own technical reports and schematics. Our client has a busy Legionella department, which is growing across the region, offering great further training and development opportunities. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle and fuel card.

Locations of work include: Crawley, Horsham, Billingshurst, East Grinstead, Crowborough, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Haywards Heath, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, Shoreham-by-Sea, Saltdean, Littlehampton, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Seaford, Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings, Staplehurst, Maidstone, Redhill, Oxted, Aylesford.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• It would be advantageous to have some plumbing / remedial knowledge, but this is not essential
• Robust technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Confident in communicating technical matters to clients
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Working across a range of client premises, including: commercial and public sector
• Highlighting any found risks to clients and providing advice on remedial actions
• Producing thorough technical reports
• Creating schematic drawings
• Adhering to set deadlines
• Maintaining high service standards
• Training and supporting new risk assessors
• Working in accordance with safety guidelines
