Electrician, Huntingdon, start 24/08/2026, 250- 300 pd, JIB, Ipaf
Location: St Ives, Huntingdon area
Start: 24/08/2026
Duration: 4 months
Hours: 8 hours per day
Rate: 250- 300 per day doe
Parking: free on site
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician/s with strong industrial experience for a project in St Ives, near Huntingdon, starting on the 24th August up to Christmas
This is a minimum 2-month opportunity, with potential for further work for the right person.
Requirements:
- Gold JIB Electrician Card - essential
- IPAF - essential
- Strong industrial electrical experience
- Previous experience working on industrial projects
- Own tools and full PPE
- Good understanding of electrical installation and site safety
- Reliable and able to commit to the duration of the project
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Industrial electrical installation and first/second fix works
- Installation of containment, cable tray, basket and trunking
- Cable pulling and termination
- Installation and connection of electrical equipment
- Installation of lighting and power systems
- Working with armoured and other industrial cabling
- Reading and working from electrical drawings
- Testing, fault finding and assisting with commissioning where required
- Working safely and maintaining good housekeeping on site
