Company

We are working with a highly regarded commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering some of London's most innovative workplace projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager to lead projects from initial client engagement through to successful handover to delivery teams.

This is an opportunity to join a market-leading business renowned for delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects for blue-chip clients across London.



The Role

Working closely with clients, consultants, designers and internal delivery teams, you will take ownership of the entire pre-construction process, ensuring schemes are commercially viable, technically robust and positioned for successful delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction activities from enquiry through to contract award.
  • Manage and coordinate bid submissions, tender responses and client presentations.
  • Work closely with estimating, commercial, design and operations teams.
  • Review project risks, opportunities and buildability considerations.
  • Develop programme strategies and procurement plans.
  • Coordinate input from specialist subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Attend client meetings and act as a key stakeholder throughout the bid process.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously ranging from 1m to 25m+.
  • Support business development efforts and help secure future opportunities.


Requirements

  • Proven experience within commercial fit-out, refurbishment or design & build environments.
  • Previous experience as a Pre-Construction Manager, Senior Pre-Construction Manager, Bid Manager, Design Manager or similar.
  • Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of tender processes.
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients and consultants at senior level.
  • Strong project planning, coordination and leadership skills.
  • Experience working on projects ranging from 1m to 25m+.
  • Stable career history within reputable contractors.
