About the Role
As Facilities Manager Operations / Health and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and compliant operation of our landmark building. You will oversee day-to-day facilities operations, contractor performance, Health and Safety compliance, maintenance activities and project delivery, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Working closely with Trustees, tenants, Church representatives, event teams, colleagues and external contractors, you will act as a key point of coordination across the venue. From overseeing compliance and supporting capital works to helping deliver major events and driving continuous improvement, this is a varied role offering both challenge and visibility.
About You
You are an experienced Facilities professional who thrives in a busy and diverse environment. Combining strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, you are confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and coordinating multiple priorities.
You take a proactive and practical approach to problem-solving and understand how to balance operational demands with customer service, compliance and safety requirements. Whether managing contractors, supporting project delivery or championing health and safety best practice, you are committed to delivering high standards and positive outcomes.
