Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for CPCS/NPORS Slingers to work with some of our valued clients in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.
Duties to include:
- Attaching and securing loads to lifting equipment such as cranes.
- Choosing the correct slings, shackles, chains, and lifting accessories.
- Checking lifting gear for damage or defects before use.
- Connecting loads safely and ensuring they are properly balanced.
- Using hand signals or radios to communicate with the crane operator.
- Guiding and controlling loads while they are being lifted and moved.
- Keeping people clear of suspended loads and maintaining a safe working area.
- Directing the crane operator during lifting operations when required.
- Following site lifting plans, risk assessments, and health & safety procedures.
- Disconnecting and storing lifting equipment safely after the lift.
Requirements:
- NPORS/CPCS CARD
- Good attention to detail
- Full PPE
Location and hours:
- Aberdeen
- Monday - Friday 07:30-17:00
- Weekends
Payment:
- CIS, PAYE AND UMBRELLA
- Weekly payment
