You must have strong knowledge of fire-door construction, components and installation requirements, with practical experience working with fire-door frames, intumescent products, seals, hinges, closers, locks and associated hardware. The role requires excellent attention to detail, a quality-focused approach and the ability to work independently. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required. Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers and colleagues are essential. Desirable Experience Additional fire-door inspection or maintenance qualifications, a relevant joinery qualification or NVQ, a CSCS card and experience working on commercial, social housing, healthcare, education or high-rise projects would be advantageous. Experience using digital job-management systems and completing photographic evidence would also be beneficial.
